What it does
This bill would extend the legal deadline for the National Emergency Medical Services Memorial Foundation to establish a commemorative memorial in Washington, D.C. and its surrounding area. It does so by resetting the seven-year authorization clock to run from the date this extension act is enacted, rather than from the original 2018 authorization date. The bill amends Public Law 115-275, which first granted the Foundation authority to build the memorial.
