How can we help?
Most questions are answered below. If you still need us, send a message at the bottom of this page.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by the app store you purchased through, not inside Mandate — your Apple ID on iOS, or your Google Play account on Android. Cancel anytime from that store. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases are processed by the app store you bought through, and refunds are handled by that store under its own terms — Mandate cannot issue refunds directly. You can request one from Apple or from Google Play.
I paid but don't see my subscription.
If a purchase didn't unlock, open Mandate's paywall and tap "Restore" (in the footer, next to Terms and Privacy) — this re-syncs purchases tied to the store account you bought with. If it still doesn't appear, contact us below.
What's included in each plan?
Mandate has three tiers — Constituent (free), Voter, and Mandate. A full feature breakdown is on the pricing page.
Why does Mandate need my location or ZIP code?
Your ZIP or address is used only to identify which congressional district you're in, so Mandate can show your representatives and how they vote. It's resolved once and not shared.
My representatives are wrong, or I moved.
Representatives are matched to your district from the location you provided. If you've moved, update your location in the app to re-resolve your district and representatives.
I'm not getting notifications.
Check that notifications are enabled for Mandate in your device Settings, and that they're turned on in the app's own notification settings. Free accounts receive a weekly digest; paid tiers get real-time alerts.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and all associated data from inside the app: go to Settings and tap "Delete Account", then confirm. If you've already removed the app and can't get back in, contact us below and we'll handle the deletion request.
How does Mandate keep its analysis balanced?
Every analysis presents supporter and opponent cases with equal weight, and the methodology is documented publicly.
I think an analysis is wrong or biased.
Mandate reviews flagged analyses through an in-app report, not through support — this keeps content review separate and auditable. In the app, use "Report a problem" on the analysis (for AI answers, "Report a problem with this answer") to flag it with a category.
